Since the tipping point occurred at 385ppm CO2, and that amount will lead to an 11F increase in global mean temperature before the year 2100, the poles and most glaciers will melt sufficiently to bury our coastal cities under 30 feet of water by 2100, and 150 feet by 2200.

CO2 has a half-life in the atmosphere of 100 years. Our fate is already sealed until 2108. If we all drive SUVs another 10 years, the 2200 fate is also sealed.

Have a nice day.

I am dismayed that neither candidate acknowledges the Kyoto Protocol, nor will either demand that Congress approve a Treaty to sign it. Soon, it may not matter whether we cut carbon emissions, as CO2 levels will have already exceeded that setting off a tipping point in climate change. Obama talks about 2050 as though he would held accountable after he's long gone. McCain never did get it, and never will.

Why did you not publish the energy plans of the other candidates? There ARE more than two candidates running. Nader, Barr, McKinney, and Baldwin have something to say.
