Fuel Economy Log - Week 16

August 25th, 2006 | by Brian Carr |

This past week I drove 296.2 miles, used 9.02 gallons of gas and paid $2.90 per gallon, all of which adds up to an average fuel economy of 32.84 miles per gallon, or 13.25% above my car’s average.

This 13.25% increase equates to a savings of roughly $.38 per gallon, which saved me $3.43 on this fill up.

Combining this week’s savings with my previous 15 week total, I have now saved $79.01 on gas, which means I’m still on pace to save over $250 on gas this year!
