I live in the UK and have been recently looking for a new car i was interested in a Ford and accidently looked up the US and not the UK website. The models available are totally different, (i mean totally) in the `the UK Ford sell cars in the US it seems to be enormous trucks. Do Americans really like these !!!! they look like you would be lucky to get 15mpg out of them. Also , even thought the site makes great play of the vehicles "pulling power" their are no diesels
Diesel engines have far more low rev torque and have better fuel economy so why no diesels?

I saw your site compared Japanese cars with US cars for fuel efficency but didnt mention european cars, i then tried to find any mention of the most fuel efficent european cars in the US and discovered these cars are not sold in the USA. This is despite many of the fuel efficient european cars being made by US owned companies . It would be so easy for a manufacturer like ford to sell models it already produces for europe in the USA but they dont . Is this because Americans wouldnt buy them ? In the US the focus does 37mpg highway, in the UK the focus does 70mpg highway. in the US 2 models are available that do over 60 mpg in europe we have 113. I know you pay a quarter the price for gas that we do but just using gas for the sake of it thats just plain stupid
