Financial Tips for the Fiscally Fit

How financially fit are you? Regardless of your financial fitness chances are more can still be done.  It’s amazing how little one needs to do in order to get on the right financial track, and yet they seem to do everything in their power to avoid that path.  I’m going to provide you with some easy to follow tips on how to better your personal finances.

Since the recession began the mere mention of credit cards scares people away.  Part of me thinks that is a great thing, but for the more financially disciplined person they could be missing out on a lot of free money.  Consider this, you already pay your phone bill, purchase groceries and gasoline each month, you have entertainment expenses, so why not get back money for all of that?  If you are going to spend money regardless, my motto is that you might as well use your credit card and rack up reward points for doing so.

In this day and age we are spending more on smart phones, internet, wifi hot spots, air cards, and cable/satellite television.  Unfortunately, the amount of choices, and the ever changing technology makes all of this a costly venture.  Fortunately for us, there are many more players in the market, and thus they are forced to offer competitive pricing plans.  If one company is seemingly overcharging you, or threatening to end a promotional rate, than simply price out a new company!

If you have a decent enough credit score, debt consolidate could be the way to go!  Pay day loan companies are often frowned upon, but they can offer the possibility of debt consolidation, or additional liquidity if it is absolutely necessary.  If you are interested in pricing out some options you can check out jaguarpaydayloans.co.uk.

A side hustle is a great way to earn extra income and diversify your revenue sources to boot.  For example, I might be a corporate finance guy by day, but I’m a serious finance blogger by night, and I make a pretty decent side income in doing so.  You need to be a little creative, surf the web, and think outside the box, and I’m certain you can think of a task or activity that would suit your abilities and talents.
