However, growing up in Phoenix I learned you absolutely have to keep your windows 'cracked' in the summer. That means roll them down about an inch so that hot air can escape. Also, that little means rain or bad guys hands can't much get in. I still do that in Denver in the summers. Speaking of heat reduction, I have found that tinting has a HUGE impact on keeping a car cooler. Tinting all the windows is now the very first thing I do with every truck I get.
