Oil Closes at $76.70 Per Barrel

July 13th, 2006 | by Brian Carr |

First, I apologize for the long delay between posts; this past week I was on vacation and did not have internet access.

That being said, oil prices closed near $77 (at a record $76.70) per barrel, meaning gas prices will be soon to follow.

So, because of that, I will step up the efforts here at Daily Fuel Economy Tip to help all of you get the most out of your car’s gas mileage.

Oil still had some electronic trading activity through the evening and closed at $78.35

Glad to see the updates are still coming!

Wow! It’ll be interesting to see how that affects (or is it effects, I could never get those two right?!?) the stock market this morning.
