If gas would go down then people would have more $$$$$ to spend on fun things and it would help boost the economy, but linning the politicians and oil monsters is more important than soaking the average citizen. They can live on the street we've got our oil and our hugh house on torch lake.

If you think 2.69 is bad get a load of this our gas jumped $.20 at non today to a really great price @#$%^&( of $3.39 per gal. It was just said on the radio the other week that the found we have a surplus and it will go down. When we asked a local politician his reply was I don't know--isn't that great then he said it because of the value of the dollar not the gas cost--somebody is great liars and just plain greedy.

Ryan - thanks for the comment, language aside. I agree with you that gas prices jumping - especially with no reasonable explanation - is really frustrating. I think if the oil/gas industry did a better job of telling consumers the reasons behind the price increases, maybe we'd all be a little more accepting. Unfortunately, you've hit the nail right on the head when you stated, "the gas prices are the seed to all prices." Inflation (mostly brought on by higher energy costs) is really going to hurt a lot of people.

Gas prices are fucking bullshit. I was just about to fill my tank on Thursday as the price on Wednesday was 2.69. I drive to the gas station and to my suprise the fucking prices rose to 2.79 for no reason at all. Just because it is Easter they raise the prices. The price for oil on the market has dropped over 5 dollars the last few days but the gas stations still raise their prices. How is this fucking legal! They should be beheaded for this shit. I go out today which is Friday to see if I could find it for 2.69 elsewhere. Unbelievably they rose it overnight to 2.89. What a fucking joke! This is unfair treatment to everyone. Noone can fucking live like this. I make 65K a year and live alone and can barely fucking make it cause of the damn gas prices. I can't wait till the jack ass we have as a president leaves fucking office in 2008. The gas prices are the seed to all prices.
